Dogs came in all shapes and sizes, in such quantities that there was thought at one point that they might have outnumbered the humans. And amongst these faithful canine companions, there was one brave cat, kept under the watchful eye of Prue Dowie.
Handlers, young and old, kept well control of their charges, not only in the body of the church, but in the narrow confines of the nave on the way up to the altar for their 'pet blessing' by Canon Ian.
