A French detective solves a case in All Saints'

Without further ado, the audience and the cast upped sticks from the church and headed next door to the Glencarse Hotel where a delicious supper had been laid on by Lena Singer and her staff. It was then left to those who had watched the play to deduce who was the killer and what his or her motive had been.

At the end of the meal, the French detective, who looked a complete cross between Monsiuer Poirot and our own Jean-Marie Meny, announced his findings, and it was only Kate Drummond Hay amongst the super sleuths in the audience whose verdict tallied with the detective, her findings being rewarded with a select bottle of vin rouge.

The cast of the play included Lewis Heriot Maitland, Sophie Forbes, Vicky Campbell and Florence Pilcher (pictured right.)
Also Graham Nicholson, Kirsty Pilcher, Sue Vardy, and Robin Pilcher. Jean Marie Meny added great authenticity as the French detective and Pam Murray held the whole show together as the Narrator.

The evening raised over £300 for CHAS.
