Peter Cowdrey, who on occasions has been playing the organ at All Saints', will be playing alongside the distinguished pianist Katherine Durran, whose ancestors farmed in the Abernyte/Kinnaird districts for centuries. There is a large stained-glass window in Abernyte Church, commemorating her ancestor, Katherine Hunter, a precocious pianist at the end of the 19th century who was sent to Germany to study but contracted appendicitis and died in Hamburg, aged 24, before she was able to fulfil her talent.
Entry is by donation, with proceeds going towards performers' expenses and All Saints' Church.
